Feng Shui is the ancient and timeless wisdom of living in harmony with natural and man-made environments. It is a blend of mystical beliefs, astrology, folklore, and commonsense that originated out of China over 2000 years ago. Its complex wisdom and application is based on the Chinese understanding of the dynamic flow of energy throughout the Universe and our lives. Feng Shui Masters have used its principles over the centuries to enhance good fortune in all areas of life. On a practical level, Feng Shui is used to create harmonious spaces in the home and work that are balanced in the elements (Earth, Fire, Metal and Air) and most conducive to the individuals health and wellbeing on all levels -- relationships, health, career, finances and peace of mind.

In order to do this, the Feng Shui Master first creates an astrology chart based on the individual's birth information in order to determine the energies (issues) that are most active in the person's life. Then he completes an on-site Feng Shui evaluation of the home or office to determine areas of positive and negative energy & suggests 'cures' to correct any misalignments.

Chinese Astrology

The ancient Chinese devised a method of reading a person’s life from his birth Year, Month, Day, and Hour in what is known as “The Four Pillars of Destiny.” The Four Pillars chart must be balanced for a life free of troubles and turmoils. In order to do so, the right elements are needed to balance the chart evenly. Then the total capability of an individual can be harnessed for good health, fame and fortune. Another such tool in Chinese astrology uses the ‘Purple Star System' to calculate the fate of a person. A person's characteristics can be identified through this system with reference to his or her birth time. The stars are then located in the prescribed zones called the astrological chart. This chart is the map of our life journey through the unbounded universe.

Based on one’s birth information, Master Yan plots a chart, and interprets health, love, finance and other aspects of one’s life during one year, 10 years, or a much longer period. He uses both the Four Pillars & Purple King astrology to reach more accurate predictions for the clients.

Master Paul Yan is a graduate from Shanghai Medical College (1981) and a Doctor of Naturopathy at Nova College International (1999). Drawing on his far-reaching family background in oriental metaphysics, he is also a Chinese astrologer and a Feng Shui Master with 43 years experience and practice. To achieve accurate assessment and more effective results, he uses both Compass and Flying Star to decode and treat energies at home or at work, and he applies Four Pillars (Ba Zi) and Purple King astrology (Zi Wei Dou Shu) in reading and also combines them with Feng Shui. For many years Master Yan has shared his knowledge through teaching and has authored several books including The Best Feng Shui Alignment (2002). He also speaks regularly on Radio and TV shows.
