What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a scientifically verified and effective technique that can promote accelerated human change by accessing the sub-conscious levels of the mind where emotional and behavioral patterns are imprinted. With Hypnosis, we can safely, gently and effectively create desired changes in behavior and encourage mental and physical well-being.

How does Hypnosis Work?

Hypnosis is the hypnotic state where the critical function of the brain that enables one to assess, evaluate and make judgments is bypassed. It is a level of consciousness that falls below the “full conscious \awareness” state in which a person's brain typically operates during waking hours. It is in the hypnotic state where one is more open to experiences and suggestions, allowing thought patterns to be altered, and new behaviors and lifestyles to be introduced.

The keys to a successful treatment through Hypnotherapy are a qualified therapist, a willing and committed client, and one or more relaxing hypnosis sessions.  During these sessions, the client enters a deep state of relaxation with guided visualization exercises.  The practitioner reads from a script that is specially prepared to address the individual’s challenges and suggest new approaches and behaviors to overcome them.
