Reflexology Certification Program
This is a 220 hour, hands-on reflexology training program that meets the highest standard of certification in the country. Students receive a comprehensive understanding and thorough working knowledge of the art and science of Reflexology. The program is taught by a Nationally Certified Reflexologist and helps prepare students for national level certification. This class is taught in collaboration with the Baltimore School of Reflexology, MD.
Course Outline
The course is taught over 4 weekends (1 weekend each month on an on-going basis) & covers the following topics:
- About Reflexology: History, Definitions, Theories, Benefits, Contraindications, Charts
- Understanding the feet: Anatomy, terminology, pathology
- Anatomy & physiology and how it pertains to reflexology
- Meridians and chi and how it pertains to reflexology
- Reflexology techniques for the feet (hands-on practice in class)
- Reflexology techniques for the hands (hands-on practice in class)
- Reflexology techniques for the ears (hands-on practice in class)
- Therapeutic Tools used in conjunction with reflexology - aromatherapy and energy work
- Creating a Practice: Business and legal considerations
Course Requirements
To successfully complete the course, students need to complete the following requirements:
- Attend 4 weekend sessions (may be attended in any order)
- Complete 100 pairs of documented feet
- Read 6 books and watch 2 videos (from recommended list)
- Pass practical and written exam after all requirements are met
Certification
• Baltimore School of Reflexology : After completion of all the above requirements, the student will receive their Reflexology Certification through the Baltimore School of Reflexology.
• American Reflexology Certification Board : After receiving Certification through the Baltimore School of Reflexology, students are eligible to apply for National Certification through the American Reflexology Certification Board.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
• Please note that we keep our classes small (maximum 12 students) to
promote class participation and individualized attention. For this reason, please make sure your register in advance to hold your space. • To register for classes you will need to complete a registration form
and make a class deposit.
• You may complete the Registration Form over the phone (202-332-
3501), by fax (202-332-3503), mail (1642 R Street, NW, Washington,
DC 20009) or in person.
PAYMENT POLICY
• To complete class registration and hold your space we require a $50 deposit for each class. The deposit is non-refundable and non- transferable (for any reason).
• The balance paymentfor the class is due 1 week prior to class date. The balance class fee is non-refundablebut may be transferred to another class in case of an emergency.
• We accept cash, check or credit card (Visa or Master Card).
CANCELATION POLICY
• Student Cancellation: In the case that you cannot attend a class you
have registered for, you will lose your deposit and class fee. Only in cases of an emergency can the class fee (NOT deposit) be transferred to another class within 6 months of the original class date.
• Class Cancellation: In the case that we do not meet the minimum
number of students the class maybe cancelled by the instructor. The full student deposit & fee will be refunded by check. In the case of inclement weather or other emergencies, the class will be rescheduled. If the student is unable to attend the new date, the full deposit & fee will be refunded. |
