Mahatma Reiki Program

PROGRAM: Reiki (ray-key), meaning 'Universal Life Force Energy," is an ancient eastern technique for enlightenment and healing. It is the creative energy of life that is within us, in all living things and all around us. Learn to use this powerful hands-on technique for healing, balancing and integrating the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. This program teaches students how to connect with and use Reiki for self-healing and using it as a healing tool for others.

CLASS: The class is taught over four Sundays from 10am to 5pm. There is one 45 minute lunch break and two 15 minute tea breaks during the day. The levels must be attended in order. The classes are experiential; you will give and receive Reiki. Please drink plenty of water the week prior to class and please wear comfortable clothing on the day of class. The instructor will provide a recommended reading list and homework after each class.

CERTIFICATION: For Certificate of Completion from Tulsi Holistic Living, students must attend all three levels of the class (must be attended in order), complete assigned readings and homework. For Master/Teacher Certification, students must complete 50 apprentice hours.

Mahatma Reiki Attunements:

Mahatma Reiki 1: teaches you the benefits, uses and history of Reiki; sensing energy; basic energy medicine; centering, protecting and grounding yourself during a treatment; steps for a basic Reiki treatment; hand positions; giving Reiki to yourself and others.

Mahatma Reiki 2: teaches you intermediate energy medicine; learning about and working with chakras; balancing your own energy body; refining your ability to sense energy; giving Reiki at a distance; keeping your energy protected and clear.

Mahatma Reiki 3: more advanced energy medicine and working with chakras and different energy fields; refining your ability to sense and communicate energy; continuing to integrate and expand your own energy; being Reiki in all your life.

Mahatma Reiki 4: this is the Master/Teacher level and focuses on teaching you how to transmit the attunements to others; mastering your energy body; developing higher intuition and connection to other energy bodies.

Attunement to Reiki & What to Expect:

As part of the experience you will be attuned to Reiki energy (different energy each level) which will shift your energy and raise your vibration. Personal experiences with attunements vary, but can include an increase in psychic sensitivity, a change in seeing or sensing energy, a feeling of warmth or tingly in the hands or other parts of the body, a greater sense of peace and well-being. The energy will integrate into your being over the following months as you practice. It is a peaceful and powerful experience.
