Mayuri Sobti, Integrative Health Practitioner

Mayuri is an Integrative Health Practitioner who has a 3 year degree in Traditional Naturopathy (not be mistaken with Naturopathic Physicians who state licensed), is a Certified Nutritional Consultant through the AANC and a Certified Iridologist. In her practice, Mayuri uses natural evaluation tools including holistic case taking, iridology, tongue and pulse observation, reflexology and kinesiology to assess imbalances in the body. She effectively combines nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, detoxification therapies, therapeutic bodywork and energetic balancing to help restore the body’s natural balance. Mayuri is a Nationally Certified Reflexologist through the American Reflexology Certification Board and a Reiki Master/Teacher. She offers bodywork sessions that incorporate reflexology, acupressure & energy work. She is also a holistic health instructor who has created and teaches national level
Holistic Nutrition and Reflexology training programs.

Noah Samuels, Integrative Health Practitioner

Noah is an Integrative Health Practitioner who is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist and Nutrition Consultant. He is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Noah has completed over 1000 clinic hours at the Emperor’s College clinic working under renowned leaders in the fields of Chinese Medicine and Clinical Nutrition. Noah’s consultations integrate a strong knowledge of both Western and Eastern approaches to holistic
health, detoxification and nutrition. He offers an array of comprehensive lab tests, which can assess any nutritional and/or hormonal imbalances or deficiencies, depending on the individual presentation. He recommends dietary strategies and nutritional supplementation to achieve optimum wellness for his patients.

Lisa Scott, Clinical Herbalist                                 
                         

Lisa is a Clinical Herbalist with a M.S. in Herbal Medicine from the Tai Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts - the first accredited Master's program in herbalism in the United States.  Through her consultations, Lisa counsels clients in nutrition, herbal medicine, and healthy living. She creates custom herbal formulations that support the body’s nutritive, organ-system and detoxification needs, along with underlying energetic (mental and emotional) patterns. She addresses a wide range of health imbalances including digestive, nervous system, endocrine, musuclo-skeletal, circulatory and immune. She is also a Reiki Master & Reflexology practitioner and offers healing treatments. Lisa helps each of her clients awaken to their symptoms as teachers in order to learn what the body
needs to be healthy.

Michael Liss, Classical Homeopath

Michael is a classical homeopathic practitioner. He has been practicing homeopathy for the past 30 years and has successfully treated hundreds of clients. Michael’s approach is constitutional homeopathy whereby he assesses the individual’s current and past health conditions. He addresses health patterns that manifest in the physical, mental and emotional bodies. His treatment restores health on all levels thereby removing not only the presenting health imbalance but also its deeper seated cause. Michael specializes in chronic health conditions (hormonal, immune, digestive, neurological, musculo-skeletal and organ specific) and emotional/psychological imbalances. Michael works closely with our Nutritional and bodywork practitioners to create a well-rounded protocol to support each client’s health needs.


Peggy Linden, Life Coach, Cranio-Sacral Therapist

Peggy is a Life Coach and Intuitive Healer with over 30 years’ experience. She is certified in Organization Development from Georgetown University, as a Professional Coach from the Coaches Training Institute and has completed training in Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching
from the Center for Right Relationship. She is also a Cranio-Sacral therapist, with advanced training
in CranioSacral Therapy and Somoto-Emotional Release with the Upledger Institute. She uses integrated practices learned through formal training and developed over 30 years of practice to help clients ‘listen’ to their physical, emotional and mental bodies and self-recognize areas of imbalance. She helps them release patterns of trauma and stress, whether caused by a physical accident, emotional loss or mental imbalance, through hands-on bodywork and co-active life coaching.

Master Paul Yan, Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Feng Shui Master

Master Paul Yan is a graduate from Shanghai Medical College (1981) and a Chinese Medicine practitioner. Drawing on his far-reaching family background in oriental metaphysics, he is a Chinese Astrologer and a Feng Shui Master with 43 years experience and practice. To achieve accurate assessments and the most effective results, he uses both Compass and Flying Star to decode and treat energies at home or at work.  Master Yan offers home and office Feng Shui consultations on-site to help you treat energy imbalances in your space and maximize the positive attributes. He also offers Chinese Astrology readings (one year or full life) using Four Pillars (Ba Zi) and Purple King Astrology (Zi Wei Dou Shu). For many years Master Yan has shared his knowledge through teaching and has authored several books.

Dawit Asseffa, L.Ac.

Dawit Asseffa is a licensed acupuncturist in Washington, D.C. and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. He holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin in Austin, Texas. Dawit is a general practitioner who specializes in cancer support, immune disorders and anxiety related disorders. Dawit incorporates nutritional and lifestyle counseling, Chinese Herbal medicine, bodywork and energy healing therapies into his Acupuncture treatments in order to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to his practice. In addition, Dawit is certified by the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, recognizing his
advanced knowledge and experience using Oriental Medicine to treat infertility for both women
and men.

Peter Liebenthal, L.Ac.

Peter Liebenthal is a licensed acupuncturist in Washington, D.C. and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. After graduating with a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the 5 Branches University in Santa Cruz, California, Peter continued his studies in China and Taiwan. In addition to TCM, he also practices Japanese, Five Element and Taiwanese style acupuncture and incorporates Chinese Herbal medicine and dietary and lifestyle advice into his treatments. Peter is a general practitioner who specializes in internal medicine, pain management, immune disorders, stress reduction and pediatrics. Peter is a certified instructor of Wild Goose Qi Gong, a powerful self-healing practice that integrates movement, breath work and awareness to cultivate vital energy and promote healing.

My-Hanh Weinberg, L.Ac.

My-Hanh Weinberg a licensed acupuncturist in Washington, D.C. and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. She received her Master’s degree from Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, MD and has been practicing acupuncture for the past 18 years. My-Hanh’s practice encompasses a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal pain, internal disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, fatigue, fertility, women's health, anxiety, and depression. She uses acupuncture, Chinese herbs, acupuncture, dietary therapies and lifestyle counseling to alleviate the symptoms and also to educate the client.  My-Hanh is one of the few acupuncturists in the area offering non-needle, micro-current electro-acupuncture and color light therapy to help balance the body’s nervous system and vital force energy.

Jennifer Yeh, L.Ac.

Jennifer Yeh is a licensed acupuncturist in Washington, D.C. and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. She graduated with a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of
Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, California 2006. Her practice has included working with women with cancer at the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic and patients who were seriously ill with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C at the Quan Yin Healing Arts Clinic in San Francisco. She has advanced training in various styles and methods of acupuncture pertaining to the treatment of pain, infertility, facial rejuvenation, and women's health. In her current practice, Jennifer incorporates Oriental Bodywork techniques – Acupressure, Shiatsu and Tuina – to create a holistic healing session.

Eun Hea (Grace) Lee, L.Ac.

Grace Lee is a licensed acupuncturist in Washington, D.C. and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. She received her Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Her practice includes Acupuncture, electrical muscle stimulation, cupping, moxabustion, and Korean Sasang Constitutional Medicine (which assess and address the underlying physical, mental and emotional patterns specific to the client’s constitution). She has specialized experience in pain management, weight control and hormonal disorders. She has also successfully treated patients with anxiety, depression, orthopedic conditions, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, hypertension, infertility, smoking cessation and sleep disorders. Grace also offers Facial rejuvenation Acupuncture.

Carole Dean, LMT

Carole is a Licensed Massage Therapist who offers Deep Tissue, Swedish and Pre-Natal Massage.
She has advanced training in Oncology Massage, Detoxification Massage, and Raindrop Therapy. Carole incorporates Castor Oil Packs, Essential Oils and Hot Stones into her treatments. She is also a Reflexology Apprentice and often incorporates reflexology into her therapeutic bodywork sessions. Carole specializes in helping clients with chronic health conditions, detoxification and oncology
related support, work- and stress-related physiological and emotional tension.

Valeria Cecchino, LMT

Valeria is a Licensed Massage Therapist who offers Deep Tissue Massage and Neuro-Muscular Therapy. She is certified in pre-natal, post-natal and fertility massage supporting women in their reproductive health. Valeria incorporates advanced range of motion stretching and Thai Yoga
Massage techniques into her sessions to create a dynamic and deeply therapeutic treatment. She specializes in chronic pain, musculo-skeletal health, injury and trauma, fertility heath, and stress related issues. She offers a thorough knowledge of the human anatomy and physiology, coupled
with over 8 years of massage experience.

Joanne Fleming, LMT, Licensed Esthetician

Joanne is a licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician. She incorporates eastern and western modalities into her body treatments, including hot stone, pre-natal, Swedish, deep tissue and Raindrop therapies.  Her Spa services include organic facials and waxing, using the highest quality ingredients and exceptional esthetic skills. Joanne incorporates Reiki energy healing and aromatherapy using the finest grade therapeutic oils into most of her work.  She continually updates her skills both here and in her native England, supporting clients in reaching their health and beauty goals.

Deirdre Ottengren, Detoxification Therapist

Deirdre is Detoxification Therapist who offers Therapeutic Herbal Body Wrap Treatments -- using a combination of aloe vera, herbs, sea weed, clay and other natural remedies -- to support the body’s cleaning organs and stimulate circulation and lymphatic flow. Deirdre also offers Ear Candling, Water Detoxification (Q2) Therapy and Castor Oil Packs. She is a Certified Reflexologist and offers hand and foot reflexology, along with essential oils therapy. She is also a Reiki practitioner and combines her bodywork and energy healing skills to create a wholesome and effective healing session.

Naphawan O’Shea, RN, Thai Yoga

Naphawan is from North East Thailand and has over 20 years of experience in both Eastern and Western healing methods. She is a Licensed Registered Nurse and Midwife in Thailand and Registered Nurse in the U.S. She is a Practitioner of Thai Traditional Medicine with a specialty in Asian Body Work techniques such as Thai Yoga Massage, Trigger point, Acupressure, Reflexology and Thai herbal compress. Naphawan combines her expertise in Thai Traditional Medicine and years of experience with Asian Bodywork to offer a deeply therapeutic session especially effective for musculo-skeletal and neurological health issues.

Sharon Dickerson, RYT

Sharon is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, a Reflexology practitioner through the Baltimore School of Reflexology and a Usui Reiki practitioner.  In her sessions, Sharon combines Reflexology, Reiki and Essential Oils to create a deeply healing holistic bodywork session. Her calm and compassionate energy, along with her healing skills, support anyone experiencing stress related symptoms or other health imbalances. Sharon also offers Ear Candling, which is beneficial for ear-eye-nose issues and helps remove congestion and tension from the head and face.
